Specification:    

  1. Metal seated butterfly Check valve is suitable for directional service use in pipe system sizing to DN 100 to 1,800 mm.
  2. Sealing System : Triple Offset
    • Offset1 : The shaft is offset behind the seat axis to allow complete sealing contact around the entire seat.
    • offset 2 : The shaft centerline is offset from the pipe and valve which provides interference free opening and closing of the valve.
    • Offset 3 : The seat cone axis is offset from the shaft centerline to eliminate friction during closing and opening and to achieve uniform compressive sealing around the entire seat.
                    
      The triple offset sealing disc system shall be achieved by means of flexible stainless steel seal on disc (Laminated disc Seat).
      The Metal seat ring is mechanically retained by a metal ring secured to the body or disc and is fully adjustable and replaceable
      without removing the valve from the line. Valve Shaft shall be anti-blow out design.
  3. Design of dimensions reference standards
    • Basic (Body Thickness & Shaft)    Conforming to AWWA C 504­­-06 Class 150A, 150B and 250B , BS 5155 and TIS 382-2531
    • Double Flange Connections    Conforming to BS 4504 or ISO 7005-2 Class PN.10, 16
    • Face to Face Laying Length     Conforming to ISO/DIS 5752 Basic series 13(short body)
  4. Coating
    • All exterior shall be coated with “Non-Bleeding Type Coal-Tar Epoxy” except for Finished or seating surfaces. The total dry film thickness shall not be less than 200 microns (8 mils). The coal-tar epoxy to be used shall be dark gray in colors.
    • All interior shall be coated with “Non-Toxic liquid Epoxy (Containing No Coal-Tar)” Conforming to AWWA C 210. The total dry film thickness shall not be less than 200 microns (8 mils). The liquid epoxy to be used shall be blue in colors.
